·      ISLAMIC RELIEF CANADA
 partnering up with local Organizations, are working under the banner of the Canadain Muslims Response Network to help our Canadian brothers and sisters.
The CMRN - Calgary Task Force is mobilizing our local volunteers to help our local Calgary community in all 4 quadrants of the city.
We are preparing for Phase 1 of the distribution project.
This project is inclusive of all Calgarians. Make sure you let us know if you, your neighbors, your family members or colleague at work can benefit from this service.
Priority is given to:
• Families and individuals in quarantine due to the infection with COVID-19.
• Senior or persons with low immunity and is in self-isolation.
• Single parents, disabled persons, and care givers of disabled persons residing with them and is in self-isolation.

CALGARY CO-OP CARE PACKAGE
If you have been instructed by Alberta Health services to quarantine:

a Calgary Co-op Care Package containing food essentials, free of charge, to anyone required to be quarantined as directed by a public health agency. These Calgary Co-op Care Packages will contain non-perishable food items such as canned meat, pasta sauce, and juice. They will be delivered to those affected in the Calgary-area. These care packages will be available until April 15th. To request a care package, please contact by email: memberengagement@calgarycoop.com
Provide the following information:
·       Name
·       Address
·       Phone Number
·       Start and end date of quarantine as instructed by AHS health agency
·       Closest Coop store to your house
This offer will extend as long as inventory permits.

LOW INCOME TRANSIT PASSES
·       Buses and the CTrain are still running, and council decided on Monday that low-income transit pass users should be allowed to continue using their March pass in April.  That means people can hang onto their low-income pass for an extra month, and they don’t have to line up to buy a new pass.

SERVICE CANADA
·      Service Canada has set up a SEPARATE phone line to contact them to set up EI claims for quarantine, illness, work closure, etc due to COVID-19
·      They will not help you with anything else at this number
·      The main EI number cannot help you with COVID-19 claims
